Ribs

The day I started the Insanity workout I popped a rib out of place. After two days of laying in bed doing nothing and 3 expensive chiropractor visits I am back to normal and back to my normal workout plan. I am trying to keep the diet of the other program though. If only I had more energy I feel sluggish all the time.

Alex and I are doing a weight loss competition.
Last week I lost 2.2 lbs and he lost 6.6 lbs. I think fourth of july hurt us but hopefully not too bad. I will keep you updated!

Insanity

Tomorrow I start the Insanity workout program. I started the diet today and so far so good. Can't wait to start the workout but I know I am going to be soooo sore. Wish me luck!

Sometimes I like Utah...

Don't tell anyone. But after a long and scorching walk in Georgia at about 4 in the afternoon, it was nice to come back to the cooler nights of Utah. They just seem to be perfect for outdoor walks. My favorite walking/ jogging place is the capital as I a have said before and this is why...

Wedding Dress Inspiration

While I was in Georgia visiting, I tried on my wedding dress and OH MY! was that inspiration enough. I could not even zip the dang thing up. On the plus side I left Georgia and headed back to Ut more motivated than ever. I even turned down the Husbands offer to go get rolo McFlurrys tonight. And I love rolos. I have been working out outside lately since it has been so nice out. Tonight when I was working out I took some pictures of the Capital my favorite walking/ jogging place. But I left my camera hook up in GA.. OOPS! So I will have to upload those when I get it back!

Can You Believe This Weather?

It was so nice today, I decided to go for a walk outside instead of going to the gym. I went to the capital to walk. It is so nice there! I think I will be exercising outside more now that it is so nice outside.

run...ashley...run

Yesterday I ran 2 miles. In 2 weeks, I need to be able to run 9. Can I do it? I guess only time will tell...

I'm running in the Park City "Running With Ed" race to raise money for Park City School District. It's a 41 mile race that is run in teams of 5. There are 1o legs, and I am running two. One is 3.6 miles long and the other is 5.4 miles long.

Any ideas to help get me motivated?!?!

I caved..

And caved and caved. I have been bad this week. Easter is an awful holiday to be on a diet. Tonight I made Cadbury cookies. And they are delish. I am taking them to work tomorrow and saving some for our family picnic on Saturday. So hopefully next week will be a better week for me!
